Penmanship, not Handwriting

Annie Clark just won a national handwriting award.  The thing is . . . Annie has no hands.  When accepting the Nicholas Maxim Special Award for Excellent Penmanship at a surprise assembly at her school, this determined Pittsburgh first-grader demonstrated for the audience how she writes, gripping the pencil steadily between her forearms to perfect the letters and capitalization.  Check out the ABC followup article for a photo of her winning penmanship entry. (Doctors should only write their prescriptions out so clearly.)
