Homemade Halloween costumes are the best! A little fellow named Carter, wheelchair-bound by Spina Bifida, surely thinks so. His dad turned his wheelchair into a classic ice cream truck and the video went viral.
“Amazing costume, Dad of the Year!” read one comment. “Not only will he be going trick-or-treating, but his costume is way cooler than what the other kids will have. Win on the dad’s part,” read another.
To further stir your imagination, we’ve found several sites that show many other marvelous Halloween costumes created for kids in wheelchairs. One is called Magic Wheelchair. Another source of great ideas is a current article on Babble.
