Between Light and Darkness

Helen KellerWith new-made resolutions to more fully embrace the scriptures in the coming year, we are reminded that, like prayer, they are there to serve us in the bright moments as well as the dark. That perspective is all the more moving considering the source.

Be lifted by this quote from Helen Keller:

“Unless we form the habit of going to the Bible in bright moments as well as in trouble, we cannot fully respond to its consolations because we lack equilibrium between light and darkness.”

Consider sharing a scripture that enlightened you in a happy moment … and one that comforted you in a sad moment.
