Shareen Halliday

About the Author:

Shareen is the mom of 5 kids, ages 11 to 20. The oldest 4 are all borderline to full-on high functioning Autistic, and her hubby is "Asperger and Awesome". Because the kids are sufficiently -- even impressively -- normal outwardly, she's had to counter what she terms "reverse prejudice". No one wants to believe the “mom” ... that her kids don't have behavior problems ... they have understanding-the-world problems. Shareen addresses this challenge as well as the many joys of their journey on her blog, "Butterfly Kisses and Pixie Dust"
