There is a very interesting article in the Church News section about 2 former LDS Paralympians who are using their experiences to encourage recent wheelchair recipients making the transition to a new life of mobility. (As many of you know, the Church donates thousands of wheelchairs around the world. These two brothers have developed a course to help recipients adjust to this profound change in their lives and make the most of their newfound possibilities.)
Another story we read captured our interest as we hope it will yours. It’s about a girl who at age 5 was adopted to America from a Russian orphanage. Born with Spina Bifida, she will be competing in the games . . . with both her mothers cheering her on. Read it here.
